Wizard Academy

Landmark Kids Series Sponsored by Long Island Family & PM Pediatric Care | Program Sponsored by SMUSHT | May 6, 2023

Join us for a family-friendly show!

Do your kids love magic? Join us for a delightful show filled with magic and wizardry!

Veteran New York-based variety performer and physical comedian David Engel has been delighting audiences since 1989 with his special blend of theatrical clown and slapstick antics. Mr. Engel has a stable of family-friendly acts that are seen across the Northeast at theaters, festivals, resorts, libraries, schools, corporate and community events.

His work has won various professional awards and been featured in New York Magazine’s “BEST OF NY: KIDS!” David has performed in forty U.S states, eleven European countries, the Caribbean, Singapore and in The People’s Republic of China.

Hallmarks of his various “action clown” shows include eccentric props, magic, bubble-play puppetry, a rich musical and special effects score, unexpected improvisation and loads of active “on-their-feet,” full-audience participation. David’s work is nonviolent, and non-gender specific and aims to incite curiosity, empathy, social-courage and empower todays increasingly distractible youth.

Tickets on sale for Friends on 1/10 at noon. General on sale on 1/13 at noon.
