About

Join us for a special guest presenter event!

Til Death Do Us Part…You First! is a show that combines fast-paced Catskills-style comedy with a grounded sense of pathos. Even behind Peter Fogel’s mask of self-deprecating humor, audiences can see a man on a journey to find acceptance.

Directed by Academy Award-nominee Chazz Palminteri (Bullets Over Broadway, A Bronx Tale), and starring Peter Fogel (My Mother’s Italian, My Father’s Jewish & I’m In Therapy!) Til Death Do Us Part…You First! is a tour-de-force performance that reminds audiences of the ups and downs of love and marriage. Combining fast-paced comedy with a grounded sense of pathos, the 90-minute monologue written and performed by Peter Fogel chronicles the comedian’s personal journey to find acceptance.

This hilarious multi-media solo show is about a comedian and eternal bachelor who is dumped by his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day. Sensing his own mortality, he is visited by his Conscience (Chazz Palminteri in a voice-over). Throughout the story, Palminteri mentors Fogel on how he can end all his romantic disasters and reconnect with the one woman who can change his life! During the fast-paced performance, Fogel employs his signature wit and vocal gifts to bring to life such relatable characters as Russian ex-girlfriend Irina, magician, and ex-fiancé Jamie, high maintenance Tanya, his college roommate, Uncle Harold, plus his demented Father and evil stepmom Eva. But, of course, they all have one goal — to continue to stress him out about his unfilled love life! Fogel has the audience roaring with laughter as he relates one bold and wacky anecdote after another!. The perfect evening of laughs, for single, divorced, and couples!

“A HYSTERICAL cross between Men Are From Mars/Women Are from Venus meets Defending the Caveman!” “Hysterical” — The NY Post!

“A funny show about marriage and relationships. Go see it!”— Ray Romano (“Everybody Loves Raymond”)

PETER FOGEL is No stranger to comedy, Fogel has worked on many projects for stage and screen, including “Comedy Strip Live,” “Comedy on the Road,” “Married With Children,” Unhappily Ever After, Chicago Sons (with Jason Bateman), and Men Behaving Badly (Rob Schneider). Fogel is best known for starring in the national tour of Steve Solomon’s show My Mother’s Italian, My Father’s Jewish & I’m In Therapy!

CHAZZ PALMINTERI

Bronx-born and raised Chazz Palminteri has brought grit, muscle, and an evocative realism to the sidewalks of his New York neighborhood, in film. After two decades of performing Off-Broadway and on television, Palminteri wrote the powerful one-man stage commentary, A Bronx Tale, depicting his bruising childhood in detail. Palminteri wrote the screenplay that would mark Robert DeNiro’s directorial debut.
