Our Panel

Tamsen Fadel is an award-winning journalist, menopause advocate, and social media’s “midlife mentor.”

Tamsen is the producer and executive producer of the PBS documentary, “The M Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause.” From the boardroom to the stage at SXSW to Capitol Hill, she advocates for policies that eliminate the stigma of menopause and foster a work environment where women feel comfortable discussing and managing their midlife health journey.

Her latest book, How to Menopause: Take Charge of Your Health, Reclaim Your Life, and Feel Even Better than Before (Hachette), will be available in March of 2025.

Tamsen holds a certificate in holistic health coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She serves on the national boards of Let’s Talk Menopause and Best Buddies International and is a strong voice in the fight against breast cancer, having lost her mother to the disease in 1990.

Dr. Christine J. Duncan is a Board-certified Obstetrician Gynecologist with special interest in Integrative and Functional Medicine.  She is the Lead Physician at Northwell Health Physician Partners Women for Women ObGyn and an Assistant Clinical Professor at Hofstra Medical School.  Her post graduate training includes the Institute for Functional Medicine Certification Program, Women’s Functional and Integrative Medicine Certification Program, and Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.

 

Katie Fogarty is a podcaster, pro-age advocate, and host of A Certain Age, a podcast that spotlights women reinventing midlife. She also hosts the literary podcast The Midlife Book Club. A former journalist and PR executive, Katie also runs The Reboot Group, a career coaching company.

Katie is a longtime champion of organizations that connect women with resources to thrive in career and life. She is a board member of Let’s Talk Menopause, serves on the advisory council of She Media’s Flow Space, and is a featured expert in Mika and Ginny Brzezinski’s book “Comeback Careers.”

Katie lives on Long Island with her husband Mike and three adult-ish children.

Donna Klassen is the co-founder of Let’s Talk Menopause, a women’s health advocate, public speaker, and a licensed clinical social worker with a focus on women’s reproductive mental health.

She and her co-founders launched Let’s Talk Menopause, a national nonprofit organization to change the conversation around menopause so women get the information they need and the healthcare they deserve.

Previously, Donna served as admissions and clinical director at The Motherhood Center of New York, an innovative partial hospitalization program for new and expecting mothers with severe mood and anxiety disorders. She has also held supervisory roles at SUNY Stony Brook, the Jewish Board of Children and Family Services, and Safespace.

Donna is also a therapist in private practice with a focus on reproductive mental health.

Dr. Anita Sadaty is a Board-certified Integrative Gynecologist, functional medicine specialist and Chief Medical Officer of Womaness.

She is a founder of Redefining Health Medical, a women’s health medical practice in Roslyn, NY. An Attending Physician at the Northwell Health System and an Assistant Clinical Professor at Hofstra Medical School, Dr. Sadaty attended medical school at Cornell University Medical College graduating with honors as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Society.
