Les Degen: An Afternoon of Music and Laughter

With a background in musical theater (favorite roles include Tevye in Fiddler, Fagin in Oliver, and Applegate in Damn Yankees) Les as a singer, performs a fun filled, interactive and engaging musical program of standards, showtunes, and rock n roll. As a comedian, his family friendly (sometimes schmutzy) stand up comedy act earned him 2024 and 2025 Bethpage Credit Union’s “Best of Long Island” WINNER of Best Comedian for Seniors. Les is also a Cast Member of the musical comedy group “The Retirement Village People” performing hilarious song parodies of rock, pop, and show tunes from the 60’s and 70’s.
