Join us for an afternoon of jazz standards and musical theater favorites that will warm those winter blues!

Jenna Mate is a singer, composer/lyricist, and director who has performed at venues across the country. She has a special affinity for jazz standards and musical theater classics, and has written a catalog of music. Her original musical, ECO, was featured at New York Musical Festival and continues to grow in development. Jenna studied musical theater at Syracuse and went on to earn her MFA in Directing at Stony Brook University. She is the Artistic Director of Dramatic Arts at the Kaplen JCC, and believes in the healing power of the arts. She continues to share her love of song with audiences near and far.

 

Hal Keshner entertains on keyboard, guitar, kazoo, and vocal, and has long experience as accompanist and musical director for many pop and doo-wop acts, and community theater groups. He is in his fifth season as Musical Director for over 20 children and adult productions in collaboration with Jenna Mate at JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly, NJ. Hal is coordinator for the summer jazz series at Hopper House Museum and Study Center in Nyack, NY. You can see his Hal’s PIano Lounge series on Facebook Live.
