BROADWAY ON MAIN STREET returns with an all-new concert event created exclusively for the Landmark on Main Street on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 8 PM. Produced and hosted by Port Washington’s own Stephen DeAngelis, five of Broadway’s finest performers will recreate their most memorable musical moments, display their versatility, share backstage behind-the-scenes anecdotes and participate in an enlightening and entertaining question and answer session with our audience. Scheduled performers are Emily Bautista (Kim in Miss Saigon); Keri Rene Fuller (Jane Seymour in Six The Musical; Grizabella in Cats), Brennyn Lark (Catherine Parr in Six The Musical; Eponine in Les Misrables), Jelani Remy (Eddie Kendricks in Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations; Simba in The Lion King). and Nik Walker (Aaron Burr in Hamilton; Otis Williams in Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Tempations; Berry Gordy in Motown The Musical. Director/Accompanist will once again be Asher Denburg. The evening will include musical selections from Hamilton; Les Miserables; Six The Musical; Cats; Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations; Waitress; Miss Saigon; Grease; Frozen;  and Anastasia. Join us for what has proven to be a “can’t miss” event for theatre lovers of all ages.

 

Meet the cast:

EMILY BAUTISTA is best known for her portrayal of Kim in Miss Saigon both in the show’s most recent Broadway revival and on the company’s National tour. She also starred as Eponine in the the North American touring company of Les Misérables. Most recently she has been seen in London at the Hackney Empire in the world premiere of Vanara the musical and as Lenina in the developmental reading of the musical adaptation of Brave New World.   Current television credits include Elodie in “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin”.

 

KERI RENE FULLER most recently starred as Jane Seymour in the Broadway company of Six The Musical. Other Broadway: Jagged Little Pill (Swing); Waitress (Francine, u/s Jenna). National Tour: Cats (Grizabella). Regional credits include title of show (Heidi), Murder Ballad (Sara), Dogfight (Rose), Les Miserables (Eponine), Lizzie Borden (Lizzie), A Chorus Line (Maggie), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Rachel), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena), A Winter’s Tale (Perdita). TV: “Law & Order: SVU (Snowflake).

 

BRENNYN LARK is an NYC based actress and performer who most recently starred as Catherine Parr in the Broadway production of Six The Musical. Other credits include Eponine in the most recent Broadway revival of Les Miserables, Deena Jones in the West End revival of Dreamgirls and the World Premiere of Stephen Schwartz’s The Prince of Egypt, as Tzipporah. Other theatrical credits include Mary Magdelene in Jesus Christ Superstar, Asaka in Once on This Island and the title role in Aida. She recently appeared on Season 3 of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”! She has a passion for extending her insight, and abilities to that of transforming the next generation of young artists and performers. Her services not only involve refining a performer’s acting, singing, and audition technique, but uncovering and unlocking their potential, stepping into their power and essentially their authenticity.

NIK WALKER most recently starred as Aaron Burr in the Broadway company of Hamilton. Prior to that, he starred as Otis Williams in the Broadway production of Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations and Berry Gordy in Motown The Musical. Favotite regional roles include Monty Python’s Spamalot (Sir Galahad-Kennedy Cenrer), Sweeney Tidd (Sweeney Todd-Hangar Theatre), Into the Woods (Cinderella’s Prince/Wolf-Center Stagw), Miss Saigon (John-Ogonquit Playhouse), RENT (Collins-Pioneer Theatre). Television: “Blue Bloods”; :Law & Order: SVU”

 

JELANI REMY  A new Jersey native, Jelani most recently starred as Eddie Kendricks in the Broadway production of Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations. He made his Broadway debut starring as Simba in Disney’s The Lion King. He also starred as Victor in the recent New York revival of Smokey Joe’s Café as well as the Off-Broadway production of The Apple Boys (Jack). Regional credits include Disney’s  High School Musical 2 (Chad Danforth); Parade (Jim Conley); Pippin (Leading Player) and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Judah). He was also featured on NBC’s “One Night Only: The Best of Broadway” representing Ain’t Too Proud. ASHER DENBURG (Musical Director/Accompanist) is a versatile, prolific, and in-demand musician whose work has been heralded worldwide. Other: comedy shows with Seth Herzog, Cole Escola; ballet piano with the Joffrey Ballet School, Steps On Broadway; inaugural season ballpark organist, Rocket City Trash Pandas.

 

STEPHEN DeANGELIS (Producer/Host) has produced over 300 different Broadway concerts at venues in New York and across the United States featuring a multitude of Broadway stars including many Tony Award and Drama Desk Award winners and nominees, stars from hit television series and films whose roots are on stage and Broadway’s fastest rising young performers. Throughout his career, he has worked with over 100,000 performers across all entertainment mediums. He is also the Producing Artistic Director and Host of At This Performance… ,  the critically acclaimed concert series that has showcased the talents of  over 1100 Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates since October 2003. His work as a Producer of the ongoing series was acknowledged in BroadwayWorld’s List of “Best Club, Cabaret and Concert for 2021”. He has cast over 3600 network television and radio commercials for Manhattan’s leading advertising agencies and has contributed to many historic and award-winning spots and campaigns including many which have been recognized with Platinum, Gold and Silver Lions at Cannes. Stephen also cast the six-time Emmy Award nominated Playhouse Disney series “Johnny and the Sprites” which was seen on the Disney Channel. His work has been seen in New York and regionally in over 300 theatrical productions for companies as well as numerous festival showcases, developmental workshops and readings. Stephen is a proud member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and has staged musicals in major theatres across the country in Boston, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Dallas and St. Louis and throughout New York and New England. Stephen is the Producing Artistic Director of the new Pocono Center for the Arts which is  scheduled to open in early 2024. He has worked with Actors, Singers, Dancers, Directors, Choreographers, Composers, Lyricists and Playwrights who have been recognized with the following distinctions across all mediums: 263 Tony Award wins, 863 Tony Award nominations, 262 Drama Desk Award wins, 976 Drama Desk Award, nominations, 32 Drama League Award wins, 208 Drama League Award nominations, 197 Primetime Emmy Award wins, 843 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, 129 Daytime Emmy Award wins, 487 Daytime Emmy Award nominations, 53 Academy Award wins, 159 Academy Award nominations, 23 Olivier Award wins, 77 Olivier Award nominations, 145 Grammy Award wins, 454 Grammy Award nominations, 109 Golden Globe Award wins, 366 Golden Globe Award nominations, 5 Pulitzer Prize wins, 8 Pulitzer Prize Award nominations and 8 Kennedy Center Honors recipients.

Exchange Policy

Tickets are not refundable but may be exchanged for credit of the base price (excluding fees) toward a future performance. Notify the Box Office of your intention to exchange tickets at least 24 hours prior to the performance. Tickets returned with less than 24 hours notice prior to the performance may be donated back to Landmark as a tax deduction. You will receive a letter acknowledging your donation. Credits must also be redeemed within the next season after the original ticket date. Programs are subject to cancellation or change. If a program is canceled, ticket price will be refunded.

Covid Policy

We are open at full capacity to everyone who has been vaccinated against Covid. We will require proof of current vaccination status at entry, either with a vaccination card or the NYS Excelsior Pass or similar electronic system. Per CDC guidelines, masks are strongly recommended, even for vaccinated persons. We do not have a non-vaccinated seating section, nor are we equipped to accept recent negative Covid tests.
