About

1960’s Folk Pop & Rock with Stuart Markus

When the traditions of folk music – meaningful, socially conscious songwriting meant for singing along – merged with the energy of rock ‘n’ roll, the result was some of the most memorable popular music in a half century!

Singer-songwriter Stuart Markus, leader of the Long Island-based, internationally touring folk-rock harmony trio Gathering Time, presents a revue of 1960s folk-pop and folk-rock, from the Kingston Trio, Pete Seeger and Peter, Paul & Mary to Simon & Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell and Crosby, Stills & Nash.

Afternoon T.E.A. is a free program for seniors featuring live entertainment, lectures, classic films and more!
