Conversations from Main Street presents:
No Country for Mothers
Screening and Panel Discussion
This film examines how American mothers have been divided by culture-war narratives and unrealistic expectations, arguing that the real crisis is a lack of structural support for caregiving, childcare, work, and family life in the United States.
Join Moms First founder Reshma Saujani and local leaders for a screening of a documentary about what motherhood really looks like in America today.
This isn’t just about watching a film—it’s about being in a room where we can say things out loud that we’ve been carrying quietly, and realize we’re not alone.
Following the screening, Jennifer Stybel will moderate a discussion with Reshma Saujani and Nicole Asselta, Executive Director of the Parent Resource Center, and other community leaders.
*please note: doors and bar will open at 6:30pm – program begins at 7pm.
