BROADWAY ON MAIN STREET returns with an all-new concert event created exclusively for the Landmark on Main Street on Saturday, May 4th  at 8 PM. Produced and hosted by Port Washington’s own Stephen DeAngelis, five of Broadway’s finest performers will recreate their most memorable musical moments, display their versatility, share backstage behind-the-scenes anecdotes and participate in an enlightening and entertaining question and answer session with our audience.

STEPHEN DeANGELIS (Producer/Host) has produced over 300 different Broadway concerts at venues in New York and across the United States featuring a multitude of Broadway stars including many Tony Award and Drama Desk Award winners and nominees, stars from hit television series and films whose roots are on stage and Broadway’s fastest rising young performers. Throughout his career, he has worked with over 100,000 performers across all entertainment mediums. He is also the Producing Artistic Director and Host of At This Performance… ,  the critically acclaimed concert series that has showcased the talents of  over 1100 Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates since October 2003. His work as a Producer of the ongoing series was acknowledged in BroadwayWorld’s List of “Best Club, Cabaret and Concert for 2021”. He has cast over 3600 network television and radio commercials for Manhattan’s leading advertising agencies and has contributed to many historic and award-winning spots and campaigns including many which have been recognized with Platinum, Gold and Silver Lions at Cannes. Stephen also cast the six-time Emmy Award nominated Playhouse Disney series “Johnny and the Sprites” which was seen on the Disney Channel. His work has been seen in New York and regionally in over 300 theatrical productions for companies as well as numerous festival showcases, developmental workshops and readings. Stephen is a proud member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and has staged musicals in major theatres across the country in Boston, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Dallas and St. Louis and throughout New York and New England. JULIE REIBER recently returned after starring as Mary Jane Healy in the Broadway National Company of Jagged Little Pill. She previously closed Come From Away on Broadway, performing as Beverley Bass in the CFA concert at The Lincoln Memorial honoring the 20th anniversary of 9/11. Best known for playing the iconic green girl Elphaba in Wicked (Broadway, L.A.) Other Broadway: BKLYN, All Shook Up, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and Newsies. TV/Film: “The Americans” (Chrissy Tanner), “Freehold” (Cat) opposite Julianne Moore. Soloist for NBC’s Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting and with orchestras around the world. Debut album Love Travels on iTunes and Spotify.

 

 

 

SAM PRIMACK is a native of Phoenix, AZ and comes straight from the Broadway and National Tour casts of Dear Evan Hansen where he has spent the last year playing Evan Hansen. Sam was also honored to close out the show as Evan on Broadway in September 2022. Past credits include The Addams Family National Tour (Pugsley Addams), Catch Me If You Can (Frank Jr.), Spring Awakening (Moritz), American Idiot (Johnny), and he is also 2017 Jimmy Award finalist. He was also a part of the casts of NewsiesNineA Christmas Story, and Gypsy for the Phoenix Theatre Company. Sam is grateful for amazing friends, teachers and his incredibly supportive family.

 

 

 

 

JULIUS THOMAS III is a NAACP Theatre Award nominated actor from Gary, In. He has starred in the smash hit musical Hamilton, as the title character. He is also one half of the critically acclaimed entertainment team, “The Kings Of Soul & Swing”. Julius has also appeared as Berry Gordy who is the lead of the mega box office hit, Motown: The Musical (both on Broadway and across the US). TV appearances include “Modern Family”, “Sesame Street”, “Odd Mom Out”, “The Capitol Fourth Celebration”, and more. He is a featured vocalist on many recordings, but is most proud of his original song of inspiration, “I Am Here”. Available on iTunes, with proceeds benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.

 

 

 

 

NYLA WATSON Giving all glory to God, Nyla Watson is a Cleveland-born NYC-based actor, concert artist, voice and acting coach who was most recently seen on tour with Hadestown playing Fate 2 and covering Persephone. She is also a recent Lotte Lenya Competition 1st Prize recipient and Professional Presenter for the CYT National Convention. Broadway: Waitress – filmed and premiered at Tribeca Film Festival. Off-Broadway: Black No MoreGigantic. National Tours: HadestownWickedThe Color Purple (revival),  Notable concerts: PBS’ “ShowBoat: Live at Lincoln Center” with Norm Lewis, Vanessa Williams and Fred Willard, the 75th Anniversary of Oklahoma! with the Rodgers and Hammerstein estate and Broadway Sings: Whitmey Houston. She attributes her success to her faith, her parents, her education, and her professional and personal influences. Proud graduate of Baldwin Wallace and NYU – Steinhardt.

 

 

ERIC JORDAN YOUNG has been called “a one-man force of nature,” and “an outsized talent.” He is the proud recipient of the Broadway World Award for Best Performance by a Lead Actor. Heis an accomplished Producer, Director, Choreographer, Entertainer, Playwright and Songwriter with TV, Broadway (Ragtime ‘98, Ragtime ‘09, ChicagoSeussicalLook of Love), Off-Broadway/Regional (New York Shakespeare Festival, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Alliance Theater, Signature Theatre), National Tour (ChicagoRagtimeDreamgirls), and Commercial credits. Eric is a Helen Hayes Award recipient whose critically acclaimed Las Vegas performances include Cocktail Cabaret (Caesars Palace), Rock of Ages (Venetian/Rio), Shakin’ -Vegas Remixed with a Twist (Planet Hollywood), Chicago (Mandalay Bay), Starlight Express (Las Vegas Hilton) and Vegas! The Show. Eric has performed with several Symphonies throughout the country including the Atlanta Symphony, Buffalo Philharmonic, Phoenix Symphony Orchestra and the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall. His solo album “Once in a Lifetime”, was produced by his company EnJoY! Productions and his one-man musical Sammy & Me is the winner of the ArtVoice and Salt Awards. Mr. Young served as the Resident Director of Baz (Venetian/Palazzo) and loves working as a Creative Director for original projects including Renegades at Caesars Palace and Drag Supper Club. Eric is the Associate Director for the Norwegian Cruise Line production of Footloose and the immersive production of Rock of Ages in Hollywood, CA. Latest work includes the Kennedy Center production of Guys and Dolls and several new works including the new musicals Vanishing Girl and The Last Show. Eric is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Theater at Long Island University.

ASHER DENBURG (Musical Director/Accompanist) is a versatile and in-demand musician whose work has been heralded worldwide. He currently plays for residencies at The Green Room 42 (At This Performance…Pretty, Witty, & Gay Cabaret) and Chelsea Music Hall (Sweet! w/Seth Herzog). Selected credits as music director: national tours of SpamiltonCirque Musica Holiday Spectacular; Never Sleep Alone (Virgin Voyages, inaugural company); Breath and Imagination (Lyric Stage Company of Boston/Front Porch Arts Collective, IRNE nomination for Best Music Director). Concerts with Jackie Burns, Gavin Lee, Jelani Remy, Sis Thee Doll, and more. Selected orchestrations/arrangements: Bachelors of Broadway; Never Sleep AloneShanghai Sonatas in concert(Wallis Annenberg, world premiere); Fable (NYMF, world premiere); ghostwriterfor the Boston Pops, Chicago Symphony. Asher is currently touring with Jeff Ross, writing original songs for Ross’ new show, Take A Banana for The Ride.

Exchange Policy

Tickets are not refundable but may be exchanged for credit of the base price (excluding fees) toward a future performance. Notify the Box Office of your intention to exchange tickets at least 24 hours prior to the performance. Tickets returned with less than 24 hours notice prior to the performance may be donated back to Landmark as a tax deduction. You will receive a letter acknowledging your donation. Credits must also be redeemed within the next season after the original ticket date. Programs are subject to cancellation or change. If a program is canceled, ticket price will be refunded.

Covid Policy

We are open at full capacity to everyone who has been vaccinated against Covid. We will require proof of current vaccination status at entry, either with a vaccination card or the NYS Excelsior Pass or similar electronic system. Per CDC guidelines, masks are strongly recommended, even for vaccinated persons. We do not have a non-vaccinated seating section, nor are we equipped to accept recent negative Covid tests.
