Formed in 1993 in Philadelphia\, Pennsylvania\, the band\noriginally featured Garrett Dutton\, aka G. Love\, as the lead vocalist and guitarist\, Jeffrey\nClemens on drums\, and Jim Prescott on bass. The band’s style has been described as\na mix of “slacker blues” and “alternative hip-hop\,” as they frequently incorporate elements of 90s\nhip-hop beats with classic blues rhythms. \nOver the years\, G. SUMMARY:An Evening with Patty Griffin | Special Guest Lucy Wainwright Roche
DESCRIPTION:Patty Griffin is among the most consequential singer-songwriters of her generation\, a quintessentially American artist whose wide-ranging canon incisively explores the intimate moments and universal emotions that bind us together.  \n  \nOver two decades\, the 2x GRAMMY® Award winner – and 7x nominee – and Americana Music Association Lifetime Achievement award winner\, has crafted a remarkable body of work in progress that prompted the New York Times to hail her for “[writing] cameo-carved songs that create complete emotional portraits of specific people…[her] songs have independent lives that continue in your head when the music ends.”  \n  \n2019 saw the acclaimed release of the renowned artist’s GRAMMY® Award-winning 10th studio recording\, PATTY GRIFFIN. One of the most deeply personal recordings of Griffin’s remarkable two-decade career and first-ever eponymous LP\, PATTY GRIFFIN made a top 5 debut on Billboard’s “Independent Albums” chart amidst unprecedented worldwide acclaim\, and later\, a prestigious GRAMMY® Award for “Best Folk Album.”  \n  \nGriffin’s new album\, CROWN OF ROSES\, is a deeply personal and introspective work that explores themes of identity\, nature\, family\, and womanhood. Emerging from a creative drought during the pandemic\, Griffin found herself re-evaluating the stories she’d long told herself. The result is an eight-track collection that is both sparse and emotionally rich\, blending folk\, Americana\, and blues. With CROWN OF ROSES\, Griffin offers a record that’s both grounded and transcendent — one that invites listeners to release old narratives\, embrace new truths\, and stay truly alive while they’re here. Having crafted a rich catalog that chronicles love and death\, heartache and joy\, connection and detachment\, Patty Griffin continues to push her art forward\, as always imbuing every effort with compassion and craft\, uncanny perception\, and ever- increasing ingenuity.

SUMMARY:Five for Fighting
DESCRIPTION:The only way for a story to progress is to turn the page. \nJohn Ondrasik\, the songwriter and performer known as the platinum‑selling\, Grammy‑nominated Five For Fighting\, knows this well. In the two decades since “Superman (It’s Not Easy)” first soared\, Ondrasik’s career has both evolved and come full circle. Creativity\, if nothing else\, is paradoxical. \nTo date\, Five For Fighting has released six studio albums\, including the platinum‑certified America Town and The Battle for Everything\, along with top‑ten releases such as Two Lights\, an EP\, and live albums. Ondrasik has penned enduring hits including “100 Years\,” “The Riddle\,” “World\,” and “Chances\,” earning over one billion streams and placing him among the top adult contemporary artists of the 2000s. Songs like “100 Years” and “Superman” have become part of the American Songbook\, woven into weddings\, graduations\, memorials\, and home videos. \nA defining moment came in 2001\, when Ondrasik performed “Superman” at the Concert for New York at Madison Square Garden\, honoring first responders after the September 11 attacks. The moment underscored music’s ability to provide solace when words alone fall short. \nBuoyed by a distinctive falsetto and piano‑driven songwriting\, Ondrasik has sold more than three million albums. He tours internationally\, performs solo and with band and string ensembles. \nIn recent years\, Ondrasik has released a series of socially driven songs\, including “Blood on My Hands\,” “Can One Man Save the World?” and “OK (We Are Not OK)\,” addressing global conflict\, moral responsibility\, and cultural fracture. Proceeds from these works support humanitarian efforts in Afghanistan\, Ukraine\, and Israel. \nToday\, Ondrasik continues to write\, tour\, advocate\, and reflect. His latest songs share a common purpose: to promote dialogue\, embrace nuance\, and speak with conviction. Searching for the next verse\, the next bridge\, he continues to turn the page.

SUMMARY:Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country
DESCRIPTION:There are a lot of musical influences and sources that Daniel Donato has drawn on during his career and that inform his latest album\, Horizon (Retrace Music)\, his second all-original album. But within those\, Donato has carved out a unique and individualized spot for himself\, one that speaks to the deep American music heritage that inspires him — and that he’s pushing towards the future with inspired\, intentional vigor. \nHe calls it Cosmic Country\, a moniker that’s both self-descriptive and a statement of purpose. It’s an organic rock band aesthetic with plenty of roadhouse twang; a showcase for Donato’s instrumental virtuosity and facility for melodically infectious songcraft. Bridging Nashville and the Great West\, Kentucky and mid-60s northern California\, tie-dye and plaid\, it’s a world of his own\, and a wide world of musical adventure at that. \nWhile growing up in Nashville his father\, who turned his young son on to music of all genres\, suggested the fledgling and industriously minded (even at just 14) artist start busking in Nashville’s lower Broadway area and outside concerts\, for eight hours at a time on the weekends. One night\, the two happened by Robert’s Western World where legendary honky-tonk local mainstay the Don Kelly Band were performing. Donato eventually became a member of the band\, playing four hours a night at Robert’s (464 shows in total). \nHorizons is the follow up to 2023’s Reflector\, which received critical acclaim from a wide range of press\, including No Depression\, Glide Magazine\, Magnet Magazine\, and more. Donato the subject of features in Rolling Stone\, UPROXX\, Garden & Gun and Relix. Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country made their network television debut on CBS Saturday Morning and appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s #LateShowMeMusic online series. \nThe whole package of player\, singer\, writer and band leader was in place. Three albums in\, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country\, featuring Nathan “Sugarlegg” Aronowitz (keyboards/guitars/vocals)\, Will “Mustang” McGee (bass/vocals) and Will “Bronco” Clark (drums\, percussion/vocals) are selling out venues throughout the country and bringing their brand of Cosmic Country to an ever growing\, passionate fanbase.
