About

Brought to you by a guest presenter at the Jeanne Rimsky Theater

F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 1922 novel, The Beautiful and Damned, follows Anthony Patch, heir to a tycoon’s fortune, and Gloria Gilbert, a New York socialite, as they fall in love on the eve of the Jazz Age. What begins as the most beautiful of dreams quickly turns nightmarish as Anthony and Gloria struggle to grapple with the disintegration of their relationship and their inability to live within their means.

After THREE cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are ecstatic to present The Beautiful and Damned for the very first time at the Jeanne Rimsky Theater. This show features live music, an original score, and brand new choreography. We are proud to introduce the collaboration of young artists Brooke Di Spirito (Writer, Composer, Choreographer) Andrew Shield (Orchestrator), and Sydney Altbacker (Orchestrator, Conductor). The show is under the direction of Jason Summers, of Westchester Sandbox Theatre.

Please call 516-859-0740 with any questions or concerns.
