Historic Port Washington As You've Never Seen It: 1880 - 1965A unique presentation of historic photographs of Port Washington, updated and expanded. Christopher Bain, President of the Cow Neck Peninsula Historical Society, will show more than a hundred rare photographs, postcards, maps, and illustrations of Port Washington, dating back to the 1880s when there were only a few hundred people living in town, up through the1960's, which many of us remember. Using rarely seen aerials, the images will be placed in a clearer context than ever before. If you love old Port Washington, you'll see some of the most amazing images that you've never seen. Come share your memories and find out more about the history and culture that helped shape our shared community. This is a free program. No tickets or reservations required.
