Ladies of Laughter
Funny & Fabulous
Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 8 pm

Ladies of Laughter® is all about providing funny women the opportunity to showcase their unique styles of humor.

The competition has visited countless theaters, casinos and Madison Square Garden and has discovered some of the funniest women in comedy today. Past participants include Amy Schumer, Tammy Pescatelli and many others.

Kelly MacFarland and Robin Fox headline our show!

In addition to being the 2016 Ladies of Laughter Professional winner, Kelly MacFarland has an extensive and well-rounded resume including comedy clubs, theaters, colleges and several television appearances. Also an accomplished improviser, Kelly has performed with Fred Willard and has been a resident cast member of the ImprovBoston National Touring Company since 2014. Kelly is also an experienced humor-wellness speaker, and has been a featured keynote speaker for the American Heart Association GO Red for Women campaign for the last 10 years.

Winner of the 2012 Ladies of Laughter Competition held at Gotham Comedy Club, NYC, New Jersey stand-up comedian, Robin Fox spent 17 years as a full-time mom and dieting. Then one day, Robin gave up dieting and decided to make her life long dream of being a comedian a reality. Today she is happier than she can ever remember and will never look back! Original and funny, she talks from her heart about the frustrations of suburban living, marriage, and raising a family.

Jocelyn Chia is the 2016 Ladies of Laughter Newcomer Winner. A lawyer-turned-comedian, she is the winner of the Gotham Comedy Club's Funniest Lawyer Competition, the first runner up of the She-Devil Comedy Festival, and has been a guest comedian on the Howard Stern Channel of Sirius XM. She is also a two time winner of the Moth Storyslams, and enjoys weaving storytelling into her stand-up.

Shelly Colman is the 2014 Newcomer National Grand Champion. She was born in Brooklyn a million years ago, before it was Hip and has been un-hip ever since. She has been performing since 3rd grade when she played Glinda, the Good Witch of the North, in P.S. 161's abridged version of The Wizard of Oz.
