Landmark on Main Street!

You are invited to audition

for the leading role of “The Donor”

Landmark’s upcoming “Annual Appeal” will feature

ALL “Donors” who contribute to our final fundraising campaign for our thirteenth season.

Landmark on Main Street presents the finest music and children’s theater – for every age and taste.  Every season brings an extraordinary range of artists and the thought-provoking series “Conversations from Main Street” to Landmark’s Jeanne Rimsky Theater. 

During these difficult economic times, Landmark needs your support now more than ever.  To continue to provide this level of programming, while keeping ticket prices affordable – and sometimes free – our not-for-profit organization depends on your continued annual support.

Please consider a donation to the Annual Appeal this year.  For contributions of $125 and above, you will be cast in the role of “Friend of Landmark” for the 2009-10 Season.  As a Friend, you will receive a discount on up to four tickets to each show next season, and you can purchase tickets beginning August 3, 2009 – one full month ahead of the general public.  Highlights include: Suzanne Vega, Jane Monheit, Lucy Kaplansky & Richard Shindell, The Klezmatics, the Songs of Jerry Herman featuring Debbie Gravitte and Jason Graae and great children’s productions such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar and other Eric Carle Favorites, and TheaterworksUSA’s Click, Clack, Moo. Friends will also receive name recognition in our playbill, Applause! and the satisfaction that comes from enriching your community. 

We appreciate your generosity, particularly in these tough times.  With you playing “The Donor,” our theater can continue to present excellent programming, and Landmark on Main Street can continue to serve as the home of the Parent Resource Center, Port Washington Children’s Center, Teen Center, and the Doctors’ Gym that all serve families in many important ways.  Thank you for helping advance our tradition of service to the Port Washington and broader Long Island communities.
